PLAYJAZZ Workshop for Adults

PLAYJAZZ is a series of open workshops for adults held on the last Wednesday of the month. Most PLAYJAZZERS have previously played in village bands, orchestras, rock or swing bands where they’ve had no opportunity to improvise. PLAYJAZZ offers that opportunity in a structured supportive environment. Each month our project leader Matt Ratcliffe sends out charts and video/audio clips of two or three tunes. PLAYJAZZERS then come together to play and improvise in small groups under Matt’s guidance. It really helps us Matt plan the sessions if you book in advance so Matt knows who is coming. But you can turn up and pay on the night.
