LOOSEN UP brings more joyous, celebratory music to the streets of Derby, thsi time on the concourse of Royal Derby Hospital.

Early in the lockdown we commissioned Dennis Rollins MBE to write new music for and lead a new ten-piece band of musicians from the East Midlands.  



The music is written. Rehearsals have been great. Now LOOSEN UP is ready to play for you.



LET THE SLIGHTLY BETTER TIMES ROLL



Derby Jazz produced LOOSEN UP as a gift for the people of Derby to enjoy as soon as the lifting of the "Lockdown" permited. It's our way of helping to raise the spirits of the people of Derby as we come out of the COVID nightmare.
